Responsibilities:

The development team creates leading edge solutions for local, regional, state and federal criminal justice agencies that assist those agencies with the prevention and resolution of crimes.

Design solutions by working closely with customers and other departments

Customer interaction that determines the customer’s needs, On-site programming and Troubleshooting

Develop solutions that can be re-used and turned into standard products

Ensure that the solution is designed and implemented for the problem that is being solved

Provide timely estimates and status of progress to customers internal and external.

Determine in advance how to test different aspects of the solution before coding begins

Research and recommend new technology and process methods to be incorporated into the solutions and internal development procedures

Programming and testing of standard and custom solutions.

Work closely with other engineers during the design, implementation and testing of the solutions

The ability to provide direction to Jr. Programmers and consultants as needed.
